Larry Elmore will publish third art book “Best of Elmore”

Dragonlance artist Larry Elmore announced on April 23, 2022 that he will be publishing a third art book called “Best of Elmore” via a new Kickstarter campaign. The previous two art book collections were also published via Kickstarter campaigns a few years ago. Larry Elmore is well known to long-time Dragonlance fans because he painted the original covers for the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy, the Legends trilogy, and many other Dragonlance books during his time at TSR before Wizards of the Coast acquired TSR for the D&D brands and IP. Here is Larry’s message as announced via email and his Facebook page:

“Ok, here it goes...

We have had two very successful books that were done with Kickstarter. There have allowed us to do what we thought was impossible and actually have a book of art over the last 40 years. We have never done another print run, for we wanted it special for those whom believed in the campaign as well as fans that have visited us at conventions. thank you all.

In the past 10 years since the books were created, a lot of new art has been done and we would to announce that we are going to create a third book called "The Best of Elmore". It will be a collection of all the best work from both color and black and white along with the new stuff.
