Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen to be released December 6, 2022

Today Wizards of the Coast announced that a new D&D adventure book, Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen, will be released on December 6, 2022. It has been many years since a D&D adventure was released in the Dragonlance setting. This new D&D adventure book introduces Dragonlance to the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules. Per the Wizards of the Coast product details:

Dragonlance®: Shadow of the Dragon Queen™ is a tale of conflict and defiance set during the legendary War of the Lance. Create characters from Krynn, the world of the Dragonlance setting, then march them to the front lines of battle against the terrifying Dragon Armies. A Dungeons & Dragons® adventure that takes characters from 1st to 11th level.

There will be two editions for this release. The Regular Edition (MSRP $60) will be just the adventure book. The Deluxe Edition (MSRP $155) will also include a new Warriors of Krynn board game in the Dragonlance setting (see image below).

This is an exciting time for Dragonlance fans with the recent release of Dragons of Deceit by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Now we have confirmation that Wizards of the Coast will bring back Dragonlance to the D&D campaign setting.
